The benefits of a day hospital
Same day procedure
As a day hospital, all patients admitted for a procedure are discharged home the same day which typically incorporates a stay of 2-4 hours.
Competitive rates
With few surgeries each day compared to large hospitals, patients enjoy the benefit of more intimate care at competitive procedure rates.
Patient care
Shorter hospital stays, early mobilisation and experienced nurse-led follow up means patients can recover in the comfort of their own home.
Notting Hill Day Hospital Net Promoter Score®
Satisfied patients(Promoters)
14% Neither satisfied or dissatisfied patients (Passives)
4% Unsatisfied patients (Detractors)
At Notting Hill Day Hospital we are committed to providing patients with exceptional care and we seek feedback to continually improve the service that we provide to our patients and their carers.
We encourage our patients to complete a survey following their procedure, and included in the survey there is a Net Promoter Score (NPS) question, Would you recommend Notting Hill Day Hospital to their family or friends?
A NPS is an index ranging from 0 to 100 and measures the willingness of patients to recommend a hospital’s services to others.
To calculate the NPS, the percentage of unsatisfied patients (or detractors) is subtracted from the percentage of satisfied patients (or advocates). The higher the score, the greater the number of satisfied patients that would recommend the hospital.
Our survey sample size for April – June 2024 was 161, with a survey response rate of 83.2%. The results show that 78% of respondents would highly recommend Notting Hill Procedure Centre to their family or friends.
